DMK administrators stated that the Chief Minister's events in Coimbatore which had been scheduled for July 14 and 15 have thus been postponed.
Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, M K Stalin who was due to visit the Agri Intex 2022 to be held in Coimbatore on July 15, and also participate in the welfare assistance ceremony, has postponed his visit to the city after testing positive for Covid.
For the Chief Minister's visit to Coimbatore district, DMK cadres and Government officials were working intensively in preparation of the meetings, when news trickled in that the CM M K Stalin was having symptoms of fatigue and fever and then later confirmed to have tested Covid positive.
Subsequently, the CM's visit to Coimbatore for the Agri Intex 2022 and the Government welfare program assistance ceremony he was to attend in Coimbatore, along with all related public meetings have also been postponed.
