Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner requests project estimate for construction of additional facilities in welfare centers near Meenakshi Nagar and Selvapuram

The Corporation Commissioner directed the concerned engineer to prepare a project estimate for the construction of additional buildings with additional facilities like X-ray room, scan room and laboratory at Meenakshi Nagar Welfare Centre, Central Zone and Selvapuram Town Welfare Centres.



The Commissioner of Coimbatore Corporation reviewed the cleanliness and development works in the North and West Zone areas of coimbatore corporation.



Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner M. Prathap inspected the attendance registers for the sanitation workers at Saravanampatti health inspector's office under ward no.4 and 10 of coimbatore corporation's north zone. Sanitation workers have been asked to carry out garbage grading work in their work and sanitation workers should wear masks and gloves. At Selvapuram Urban Health Centre, at an estimated cost of Rs.68.00 lakhs, 30 nos. of beds, blood bank, etc., in separate wards for men and women, A study has been conducted on how to carry out additional construction work required to be developed into a hospital with facilities such as a scan room. He directed the concerned engineer to prepare a project estimate for the construction of an additional building with additional facilities like X-ray room, scan room and laboratory in these centres.
