Corporation Commissioner M Prathap personally inspected the birth and death registers, complaint register and attendance register at the Saravanampatti Health Inspector's office under Ward No.4 and 10 of the Corporation's North Zone.
Coimbatore: The Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Commissioner conducted an inspection in areas under Ward No. 4 and 10 of North Zone.
In Coimbatore Corporation's North Zone Ward No. 4 and 10, at the Saravanampatti Health Inspector's Office, the CCMC Commissioner M Prathap personally inspected the birth and death registers, complaint register and attendance register.

Thereon, he observed and inspected the work of the Corporation's sanitary workers while they were sorting and collecting compostable garbage and non-compostable garbage, whilst advising the public in the area to be aware of the segregation and disposal of garbage as compostable garbage and non-compostable garbage.

The CCMC Commissioner also examined the attendance records of the sanitation workers and instructed the sanitary workers to wear face masks and gloves while engaging in their work. He also advised that they should instruct the public to segregate garbage before disposal.

Later, the CCMC Commissioner M Prathap inspected if all the garbage of the houses and apartments in the Saravanampatti area under Ward No. 4 of the Corporation North Zone has been properly sorted into biodegradable and non-biodegradable garbage and then sent to the Micro Compost Center.

He also personally visited and inspected the quality of drinking water and distribution works in the upper reservoir tank in Saravanampatti area under Ward No. 4 of the Corporation's North Zone.
North Zone Chairman V Kathirvel, Municipal Engineer (P) S Arasu, Assistant Commissioner Mohanasundari, Assistant Executive Engineer Senthil Bhaskar, Zonal Health Officer Radhakrishnan and other Corporation officials were present.
Following this, Corporation Commissioner M Prathap stated that the activities of the pilot projects of providing drinking water round-the-clock with the contribution of the Central Government Science and Technology Department in the area covered by Ward No. 13 of the Corporation, monitoring through the internet and improving the distribution of drinking water are currently underway. Municipal Engineer (PO) S Arasu, 17th Member of Parliament P V Subhasree Sarath, Assistant Executive Engineer Hemalatha, Assistant Engineer Rajesh Venugopal and Corporation officials were present during the inspection.
