At the Collectorate, the sewage tank behind the old building near the two-wheeler parking area had clogged and hence sewage water was overflowing into the parking lot, emitting a stench. On rainy days, the sewage water stagnated with the rainwater puddles on the pavement causing inconvenience to the public.
Though the public and Government officials had complained about the sewage stagnation several times at the Collector's office, no action was taken.

The public has now demanded that clearing of sewage tanks be done regulary hereon.
