Deeksha Dhiwakar from Coimbatore has topped the Tamil Nadu level JEE with a score of 99.998 out of 100.
Coimbatore: A girl student from Coimbatore has topped in Tamil Nadu in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).
For admission into Engineering and technical institutes like IIT, IIIT, NIT and higher technical education institutes for Junior Engineering and technical degree programs, JEE is conducted in two stages namely first stage exam and main exam. In this, a student named Deeksha Dhiwakar from Coimbatore has secured 99.998 marks out of 100 and topped in Tamil Nadu.
A felicitation ceremony was held by the Suguna Pip School on Kalapatti Road in Coimbatore. The Principal of the school, Suguna Lakshmi, the President of Suguna Groups, Lakshmi Narayanasamy and the parents of the students attended the event to congratulate Deeksha.
Deeksha Dhiwakar who spoke to the media said, "Although the exam was difficult, after seeing the important questions, I felt confident that I would score high marks. I would like to express my gratitude to all my parents, teachers and the school administration who helped me achieve this."
