Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, M K Stalin will inaugurate the 20th edition of the Agri Intex 2022 Agriculture Expo, one of India's premier agri-business fairs on July 15 at the CODISSIA trade fair complex in Coimbatore.
At the press conference held in Coimbatore in this regard, the exhibition's President Krishnaraj, CODISSIA President Thirugnanam, and Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) Vice-Chancellor Geetha Lakshmi spoke to reporters.

The 20th edition of the Agriculture Exhibition will be held for three days starting from July 15. In an exhibition on the theme of 'Transforming Indian Agriculture through Integrated Precision Agriculture and Micro Irrigation,' there are about 497 venues from Italy, Israel, Germany, Japan, Sweden, France, and various states of India, including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister, M R K Panneerselvam and the Minister of Electricity of Tamil Nadu, Senthil Balaji are among those who will attend the inauguration ceremony. In this exhibition, solar pumps, micro-irrigation, precision farming, farm mechanization, soilless farming methods, special technologies including value addition and animal husbandry automation methods, composite value products, post-harvest technology, agriculture market, etc. will be highlighted.

In addition, various types of agro-based products including farm machinery, equipment, irrigation implements, animal husbandry, fencing, weighing machines, pumps, fertilizers, seeds, etc. will be included. Agriculture experts from across the country, food processing industry, input, seed producers, investors, distributors, researchers, bankers, farmers and the general public will participate.
