The students who returned to Coimbatore after winning medals were accorded a warm welcome by parents at the railway station.
Coimbatore: Returning from the 6th national-level yoga competition held recently in the Andamans, students from Coimbatore were accorded a warm welcome at the railway station. The parents of the students offered sweets and greeted them.

A large number of participants from various states including Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Assam and Telangana participated in the three-day competition. From Class 10 girls to adults, various participants in the yoga competition vied for honours in various categories such as Sub-Juniors, Juniors, Seniors and Super Seniors, under the leadership of Coimbatore's Ozone Yoga Centre Coach, Balakrishnan.
Of the students from Coimbatore, 6 won the first prize, one won the second prize and three yoga teachers emerged victorious in the yoga championship.
