Coimbatore: As per the instructions of the Coimbatore City Police Commissioner V Balakrishnan, a sports competition for police personnel and their families in Coimbatore was held at the police training school premises on Sunday.
The sports competition which was held from 7.15 am to 10.15 am comprised events like athletics, shot put, and fun events like tug-of-war, collecting balls, filling water etc.
The Coimbatore City Armed Forces Deputy Commissioner, Muralidharan, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Sekar, Inspector Pratap Singh, and both male and female constables along with their families participated in the competition. Later, children of police personnel who participated in the sports competition were made aware of how to behave in school and public places during Covid times.
