Raids continue at KCP Chandrasekhar’s properties in Coimbatore for 4th day

The raids at KCP Chandrasekhar’s (a friend of former minister S P Velumani) companies in Coimbatore, continued for the fourth day today.


Coimbatore: For the fourth consecutive day, searches at the KCP company in Coimbatore continued for the fourth consecutive day.

Chandrasekhar is an engineer from Vadavalli in Coimbatore. He is the AIADMK's South Suburban Coimbatore District Secretary of the youth wing.

Searches were conducted at six locations, including Chandrasekhar's house and his brothers and sisters house, on July 6. The police allegedly took away various documents and laptop during the raid. K.C.P company is operating in Peelamedu in Coimbatore.

Chandraprakash is also the director of the company. Income Tax raids were conducted here. For the third day yesterday, KCP company and the Alayam trust were also raided continuously. For the third day in a row at KCP, the raid started this morning and took place early in the morning.

At that time, various documents were seized from the spot. They also searched Chandraprakash's house and he was then questioned by the officials. At that time, he said he had chest pain. He was later admitted to a hospital where he was treated.

He later returned home and was questioned by the Income Tax department. In this situation, for the 4th day today, at KCP in Peelamedu and Chandraprakash's houses near CODISSIA are being searched.
