Property tax claims for current financial year can be paid from July 7 at all Corporation tax collection centres in Coimbatore

The CCMC Commissioner stated that all property tax claims for the current financial year can be paid at all the Corporation tax collection centres till 4 pm as well as online.


Coimbatore: The Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Commissioner, M Prathap has stated that the process of payment of property tax claims has resumed.

The CCMC Commissioner announced that the public in the Coimbatore Corporation area will be able to pay the property tax claims for the current financial year from July 7 at all Corporation tax collection centres till 4 pm, as well as online.

Due to the general revision of property tax in Coimbatore Corporation from 01.04.2022 onwards, the public was unable to pay the property tax claims for the current financial year 2022-23.

After the general revision was done, the demands for property tax for the financial year 2022-23 have been raised in the computer software used for this process. "Hence, the public can pay the property tax claims for the current financial year (07.07.2022) upto 4 pm at all Corporation Tax Collection Centres and through online mode," stated the CCMC Commissioner, M Prathap.
