Elections were held for Student President, Vice-President, Heads of Sports Department, Food Department and Environment Department in the school. Three student candidates contested in each field.

Similar to an election process, students and parents were given a booth slip (specimen), inked on their fingers and made to vote through a computer.

Students from Class 5 were fielded as candidates.

The elections were held on Wednesday after filing nominations and campaigning for the last five days. The election results will be declared on July 8. Teachers and parents were of the opinion that conducting elections in schools will enable students to learn about elections and various procedures realistically, at a very early age.
