Coimbatore: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) cadres are staging a hunger strike across Tamil Nadu on Tuesday to protest against the Tamil Nadu Government.
As part of this, BJP workers in Coimbatore district went on a hunger strike in Sivananda Colony area.
The BJP National Women's Wing President, Vanathi Srinivasan and C P Radhakrishnan are leading the hunger strike.
Over 300 people, including BJP Coimbatore District President Balaji Uthaman participated in the hunger strike shouting 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai.'
