'Chartered Accountants Day' celebrated in ICAI's Coimbatore Branch at Thudiyalur

An interaction session between Members and students was also organized.


Coimbatore: The Coimbatore Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) kick-started the 'Chartered Accountants Day' celebrations by hoisting the flag of the Institute at the Thudiyalur premises of the Institute which was led by the former President of ICAI G Ramaswamy along with members and students.



This was followed by an interaction session with students.



G Ramaswamy addressed the students and reminisced about how much the CA profession has transformed over the years to gain global recognition. He also told students to prepare intensely for exams with complete commitment, dedication and hard work.

The Branch Chairman N V Palaniswamy, Branch Secretary P Vishnu Adithan, Student Association Chairman of the Branch Survajith S Krishnan and the former Chairman of the Southern India Regional Council K Jalapathy were also present at the celebrations along with many former Chairmans of the Branch.



The Branch also organised a Blood Donation Camp for students and members.



CA Members who have completed 30 years in the ICAI Coimbatore Branch were honoured by the Senior Member S V Ramachandran, former Regional Council Member. Festivities and activities were planned for both Members and students to add fun to the Chartered Accountants Day celebrations.
