N Eswara Krishnan CA takes charge as President of The Auditors’ Association of Southern India for the period 2022-2024

New office bearers for the term 2022 - 2024 take charge after the 82nd Annual General meeting which was held on June 27, 2022. N Eswara Krishnan has been elected as President of the Association for 2022-2024. The Auditors Association of Southern India was founded by practicing auditors of Coimbatore in the year 1940.


Coimbatore: The 82nd Annual General Meeting of The Auditors Association of Southern India was held on June 27 in Coimbatore.



The following members were elected as office bearers for the term 2022 – 2024:

1. CA N Eswara Krishnan – President

2. CA S Venketesh – Vice President

3. CA V Gopalakrishnan – Secretary

4. CA P N Radhakrishnan - Treasurer

5. CA L Kamesh – Joint Secretary

CA N Ravishankar completed his tenure as the President for the term 2020-2022. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the Association in a joint effort with the Coimbatore Branch of SIRC of ICAI contributed relief materials worth Rs.13.38 lakh to ESI Hospital and Coimbatore Government Hospital in June 2021.

Earlier in the day, the Association presented medals and cash awards to the toppers of the recently-concluded CA Final and Intermediate exams and also distributed sponsorship to 30 CA students from a lower economic section of society.



The Auditors Association of Southern India was founded by practicing auditors of Coimbatore in the year 1940. The Association has been actively engaged in imparting knowledge in the field of accountancy by conducting seminars, lectures etc. to its members. The Association also offers various certification programs to the general public to disseminate knowledge in the area of accounting and commerce.
