Childline officials rescued the girl and handed her over to the Don Bosco Anbu Illam in Ukkadam, Coimbatore.
Coimbatore: Coimbatore City Police rescued a girl who was reportedly staying in the toilet of the Coimbatore railway station and handed her over to the childline staff.
When questioned, the girl said that she had arrived at Coimbatore from Andhra Pradesh in search of work and when she had arrived at the Coimbatore railway station, the person who had brought her had allegedly left her alone.
The girl also revealed that she had no parents and had not eaten for two days. Following this, the details about the girl were informed to 'Childline' officials who immediately rescued the girl and handed her over to the Don Bosco Anbu Illam in the city's Ukkadam area.
