Coimbatore: The Valparai Sholayar Dam water levels have reached 100-feet owing to the incessant rains this past week in Valparai, Coimbatore district. The rains have caused rivers to flood and the Sholayar Dam in the catchment area has now reached 100-feet.

The water level of the dam is 543-cubic feet, while the dam water reserve is 3230-cubic feet. The water level of the dam is 3230-cubic feet, with the dam likely to fill up in a few more days if rains continue.
