A four-year-old girl from Coimbatore spins the Hula Hoop 160 times in one minute and sets a world record.
Coimbatore: A four-year-old girl studying LKG in Coimbatore has made it to the Book of World Records by spinning the Hula Hoop 160 times in one minute.
Yashini is the daughter of Santosh Kumar and Lakshmi Priya, a couple from the Sundakkamuthur area of Coimbatore. At the age of two, Yashini became a solo trainee on the Hula Hoop. She had the habit of constantly spinning the Hula Hoop on her arms, hips and neck. Her parents spotted her rare talent and had her trained for the world record.

The event of her attempt to enter the World Record Book in association with Chennai Hoopers was held at the head office of the Gramiya Puthalvan Academy in Sulur.

The little lass brilliantly spun her way into the world record which was overseen by Azharuddin, the Director of the Art Literature Division of the Phoenix Achievement Book. He also presented her with certificates and medals. The audience lauded Yashni's brilliant world record with the Hula Hoop.
