Sri Krishna Educational Institutions signs MoU with Concordia educational institutions, New York.


Sri Krishna Arts and Science College located in Kuniyamuthur, Coimbatore and Concordia University of New York, USA signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today. 

S. Malarvizhi Managing Trustee of the Sri Krishna Educational Institutions and Dr. James Christian Burkee, Executive Vice President of Concordia University of New York signed the MoU.



According to the MOU signed Commerce students of Sri Krishna Arts and Science College can participate in the American Transfer Program (ATP) 2 +1 or Graduate Studies Programme 2+2, where students have to study 2 years here at Sri Krishna Arts and Science, India and 1 year at the Concordia College, US. After completing one year study at America, the students can do a one year MBA programme at the same college.

The MOU enables the students to avail a scholarship worth of USD 10,000 (USD Ten Thousand only) per annum for students who meet all the eligibility requirements. Concordia College sponsors 2 faculty members from Sri Krishna Arts and Science College to visit their college and train them. Faculty members from Concordia will engage in teaching the students of Sri Krishna Arts and Science College through online.

Dr.James Christain Burkee stated that academicians should travel to various countries and identify the changes happening in the fields. 'We should get respect when we travel to various countries. Expand the horizon of knowledge through the sharing with the similar professionals and do research in your areas', he added.

S. Malarvizhi, Chairperson and Managing trustee, Sri Krishna Institutions presided over the programme and explained the various opportunities available for the benefit of the students. She also insisted that post this MoU, the faculties and students should visit the foreign universities and colleges to know the recent developments happening in the respective fields. The exchange programme helps us to know the best practices in the similar areas.
