Coimbatore: The Education Loan function was held at the CODISSIA campus in Coimbatore by the leading banks.
In this, education loans worth Rs 44.17 crores were given to 293 students today. The event was attended by Minister Senthil Balaji, Coimbatore MP PR Nadarajan, District Collector, Corporation Commissioner, and many others including bank officials.
Following this, Minister Senthil Balaji provided education loans to the beneficiaries.
Following this, he told reporters “The Chief Minister should take steps to provide education loans to all those who have applied for education loans in the Coimbatore district and today 293 students are being given education loans worth Rs 44 crore.
The organization has set a target of providing Rs 350 crore in education loans in the Coimbatore district this year. He said that the first phase of 100 crore rupees student loan is to be provided in the next 30 days and therefore special steps are being taken to make Coimbatore the district with the highest number of education loans in Tamil Nadu.
Also, bank managers should not be reluctant to provide education loans due to the Cibil score problem. Leading banks under the leadership of the District Collector should provide education loans to all those who are interested in applying for the future of their educational careers.
Those in the field of television and journalism can bring to the attention of the district administration if any student loans are not available, and difficulties in approaching the banks personally for education loans for student loans.
