Sulur police arrested 3 ganja peddlers in Coimbatore, Sulur, and confiscated 2 kg of cannabis from them
Coimbatore: Sulur police have been informed that ganja is being sold in the vicinity of Sulur, Kumaran Kottam area in Coimbatore. Following this, police led by Sulur Assistant Inspector Karthik Kumar patrolled the area.
The three men, who were standing there at the time, saw the police and tried to take off in their two-wheeler. When the police detained and interrogated them, they responded contrary to precedent.
A subsequent search revealed that they had small packets of cannabis on them. The first phase of the investigation revealed that the arrested persons were Karthik (24) from Sulur, Sathyaraj (32) from Trichy district, and Bobby Khan (33) from West Bengal, all three were working as electricians.

It was also revealed that they had been buying cannabis in bulk and selling it in small quantities. Following this, the police seized 2 kg of cannabis from their possession, arrested the 3, produced them in court, and remanded them in custody.
