The CCTV footage of the three intoxicated men attacking the employee of a two-wheeler workshop has been released.

Ravikumar who is an employee there was alone at the workshop on Wednesday evening when Mani from the same area sauntered into the workshop with three other men. They demanded to talk to the owner about a vehicle and spoke to Sheriff through Ravikumar’s cell phone. The men who seemed intoxicated then allegedly kept the cell phone in one of the men's pocket without returning it to Ravikumar.
When Ravikumar asked them to return his cell phone, one of the intoxicated men reportedly took a machete from the workshop and cut Ravikumar's hand.
Ravikumar sustained serious injuries to his hand and was rushed to the Coimbatore Government Hospital for treatment.
The Peelamedu police have registered a case and are investigating based on the complaint lodged by Ravikumar. Meanwhile, the CCTV footage of the three intoxicated men attacking Ravikumar has been released.
