Coimbatore: Owing to airstrip maintenance work being carried out at the Coimbatore International Airport, the Air Arabia flight between Coimbatore and Sharjah which usually lands at 3:30 am and departs again at 4:15 pm, has now been rescheduled to land at 6:30 am from Thursday and depart again for Sharjah at 7:20 am.
Airport sources stated, "Runway maintenance work at airports is routinely carried out once every 10 years. The work was recently launched at the Coimbatore International Airport. Due to this, the time has been changed so that all flights will be completed by 10 pm. The Air Arabia flight between Coimbatore and Sharjah usually lands at 3:30 am and departs again at 4:15 pm. The flight time of the 'Air Arabia' flight has now been rescheduled for June 16, Thursday, due to runway maintenance work. The airline currently operates flights between Coimbatore and Sharjah, five days a week. The flight is scheduled to land at 6:30 am from tomorrow and depart again for Sharjah at 7:20 am.
