Coimbatore: Parameswari (45) hails from the Sulur area of Coimbatore. She owns a coconut grove in the Chinnavathambacheri area next to Sultanpet.
Her father, Arumuga Kaunder (93) lives alone in a small room there. In this situation, Parameswari went to the garden yesterday afternoon to visit her father. When she went to the farm, she saw a corpse of a 45–50-year-old man lying in the coconut grove. She subsequently informed the Sultanpet police.

The Police arrived at the scene and investigated. But no information was available about the deceased.
The body was later recovered and sent for autopsy. The Sultanpet police have registered a case based on a complaint lodged by Vadambacheri village administration officer Sakthivel. The body has been sent for DNA testing.
