robot that helps at the "May I help you" desk designed through Artificial Intelligence Technology. The robot is set to assist passengers at the Coimbatore airport.
Coimbatore: In the modern world, the use of technology in our everyday life is increasing. Accordingly, innovations are being introduced every day for public use. As part of this, a robot was introduced at the Coimbatore airport.

This robot was designed through Artificial Intelligence.

This robot will replace the "May I Help You" desk staff at airports. This robot is designed and introduced to perform basic aids and is specially programmed with the airport’s blueprint. It will help passengers get from one place to another and will direct them toward their destination.
The robot, which is set to speak English, will soon be programmed to speak regional languages, including Tamil, in the future, according to the Mumbai-based production company's technicians. Techies say future designs will include not only guidelines of the airport but also other services that have been introduced at the Coimbatore Airport.
The robot is being used at a private airport in Bangalore. This was the first time this humanoid robot has been used at an airport. Following this, it is being used for the first time at a government-run international airport, i.e., the Coimbatore Airport among the international airports run by the government. The airport management plans to expand its use in the future.

The Coimbatore District Collector Sameeran, the Corporation Commissioner Prathap, the Police Commissioner Pradeep and the Airport Manager Senthil Technician Santosh were also present at the launch of the robot at the Coimbatore Airport.
