Book bags and stationery were presented to the children of the members of the Coimbatore Press Council by the district collector and the corporation commissioner at an event conducted by the Coimbatore Press Council.
Coimbatore: The District Collector and the Commissioner of the Corporation presented book bags and stationery to the children of the members of the Coimbatore Press Council.
On behalf of the Coimbatore Press Club, an event was held at the Coimbatore Press Club on Addis Road to distribute book bags and stationery to the school-going children of the council members. Coimbatore District Collector GS Sameeran and Corporation Commissioner Prathap also distributed books and stationery to the children.
Then they took a photo with the children.
The event was also attended by Public Relations Officer Senthil Anna, Coimbatore Corporation Spokesperson Bharathidasan and State President of the Multipurpose Relations Movement Mohammad Rafi.
Addressing the event, the Commissioner of the District Collectorate and the Head of State of the Multipurpose Relations Movement said that it was a very happy occasion to attend the event and expressed their appreciation for the children.
