Coimbatore Mayor inaugurates construction of bore wells and road works in Wards 92, 88, and 87

The event was graced by the Southern Regional Chairman, R. Dhanalakshmi, Assistant Commissioner Annathurai, Council Members Babu, Senthilkumar, and P. Ilanchekaran, Assistant Process Engineers, Karuppasamy, Assistant Engineer Kanakaraj, and other Corporation officials.


Coimbatore: The event was presided over by M. Pratap IAS, Commissioner, Corporation.

The Deputy Mayor R. Vetriselvan and the Deputy Commissioner M. Sharmila was at the forefront of the event.



In the Rajarajeswari Nagar and EB Colony areas under Coimbatore Corporation Southern Zone Ward No.92, work was started to install a bore well and an electric motor to supply drinking water, at 6 lakh each from the public fund at a total cost of Rs.12 lakh.

The Construction of a bore well at an estimated cost of Rs.6 lakhs in the Thenral Nagar area, EB colony was started at the cost of 6 lakhs.



The construction of a bore well at Ward No.88 Kutpatta Muthusamy Sarvai Road at an estimated cost of Rs.6 lakhs was inaugurated.



The mayor inaugurated the work of constructing a bore well at a cost of Rs. 6 lakhs at Vetrilaikkara Road under Ward No. 87.

Previously, in the EB Colony under Ward No.9, Southern Zone, the mayor performed Bhoomi Pooja and inaugurated the Tamil Nadu Urban Road Development Project at the cost of 51.74 lakhs.
