Thousands of people, especially children, enjoyed the International Dogs and Cats Exhibition, which was held at a private college in the Nava India area of Coimbatore.
Coimbatore: The International Dogs and Cats Exhibition in Coimbatore drew huge crowds of animal lovers, especially children. The grand exhibition which was held at a private college in the Nava India area of Coimbatore showcased various breeds of dogs and cats.

At the 18th International Dog Show, various breeds of dogs including Rottweiler, Belgian Shepherd, Poodle, Great Dane, Chihuahua, and Indian dog breeds such as Rajapalayam, Gompa and Sippiparai were showcased to the delight of dog lovers. The highlight of the event was the participation of sniffer dogs of the Tamil Nadu Police force. Judges for the event were Komal Dhanoa from Punjab and Harish Patel from Gujarat who evaluated the dog breeds based on the quality of their participation in international competitions.

Similarly, about 150 breeds of cats such asPersian, Bengali, Himalayan, Desi, Siamese and Meenkoon cats participated in the cat show held at the same venue. Sudhakar Katikineni, Anne Carroll and Dr. Pradeep evaluated the cats and announced the winners of the event.
