Coimbatore: Even as the people of Tamil Nadu honour the late former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Kalaignar Karunanidhi on his 99th birthday celebration, the Coimbatore South District Youth Wing put up 30-ft. long posters throughout the city.
The posters had some of Kalaignar's famous verses like, "If anyone asks for a thumb or a head today as a tribute to the oppression of the caste, he will bake in a fiery furnace."
The posters were displayed in the main areas of Coimbatore such as the Railway Station, Gandhipuram, and Ukkadam by CMS Masood, Deputy Organizer, Coimbatore District East District Youth Team, and Abu Dahir, Deputy Organizer, Business Team.
