Coimbatore: Indirect auction of cotton was held at Mulanur Regulated Market in Tirupur district. Of these, 715 farmers from Tiruppur, Karur, Trichy, Dindigul, Erode and Coimbatore districts had brought cotton.

Traders from Tirupur, Dindigul, Erode, Salem and Coimbatore districts also participated in the indirect auction for the purchase of cotton.

The total quantity of cotton is 7083 bags (quintal 2177.96). These were purchased through indirect auctions by 29 traders for Rs.1,54,61,346/kg.
