While food festivals are part of all our events, we do our bit to promote Kondapalli toys, Kalamkari and Cheriyala paintings. Thanks to the efforts of the World Telugu Federation under the Dr.V.L.Indira Dutt, a Telugu Heritage Museum has been created on the Kailasagiri Hills about 4 years ago. " Telugu culture is unique and forms a crucial part of the history of our country. Telugu is a mellifluous language which is full of rhythm , world class literature, age old folk arts and enthralling music that gave the scintillating Carnatic Music School to South India. The Lepakshi handicrafts, Gadwal, Venkatagiri and Pochampalli handlooms are some of the finest examples. However, it was not until now that a museum was made for the promotion of Telugu culture. We at the WTF were really fortunate to create the Telugu Heritage Museum on a plot given by the Government on the Kailasagiri Hills in Vizag. The Telugu Saamskruthika Nikethanam atop the Kailasagiri Hills was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh - N.Chandrababu Naidu and the incumbent Vice President Venkiah Naidu.

It is spread on a large campus in the picturesque Kailasagiri Hill and was constructed at a cost of Rs.8 crores. Its a sound and light system which aids the visitor. The museum showcases the architecture, music, folk arts, fine arts as well as the language, literature, literature, music and the history of the Telugu people from the days of the Satavahanas to the present era.
