OnePlus 5T was unveiled in November in the Midnight Black variant and it is this color that is available in India. A few weeks after its launch, the company came up with the Lava Red color variant of the smartphone and now it looks like this one is all set to hit the Indian shores.

According to a recent report by Beebom, the OnePlus 5T Lava Red color variant will be launched in India on January 26. OnePlus launched the Lava Red color variant of its recent flagship smartphone in order to commemorate its fourth anniversary in China. At the time of its announcement, it was believed that this one will be exclusive to the Chinese market.

Following the Lava Red variant, OnePlus also came up with the Star Wars limited edition model of the smartphone in white with red accents on the alert slider and a few other aesthetic changes. This smartphone was announced initially in India and was later rolled out globally.

Besides the OnePlus 5T Lava Red variant, it looks like the company is all set to unveil a Sandstone variant of the device as well. We say so as the company posted a video a few days back on YouTube teasing a product in a mystery box. A recent poster has hinted that this product will be launched on January 5.

The Lava Red edition of the OnePlus 5T will be available only in the high-end model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage space. The other specifications of the smartphone will remain same and it is just a change in the color. The OnePlus 5T boasts of a 6-inch AMOLED FHD 2160 x 1080 pixel display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Under its hood, there will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC and a 3300mAh battery with Dash Charge, the company's fast charging technology.

The OnePlus 5T recently received the Android Oreo open beta update that brings in several improvements and features to the device. The camera department comprises of a rear-mounted dual camera setup with a 16MP primary sensor and a 20MP secondary sensor both with f/1.7 aperture. The front-facing camera is a 16MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture.

When it comes to the pricing, we believe that the OnePlus 5T Lava Red variant will carry the same price tag as the Midnight Black variant costing Rs. 37,999 in India and could be exclusive to Amazon India.
