LG is all set to launch its V30 smartphone today in an event in New Delhi. The highlight of the device is its bezel-less design with a taller 18:9 display and a dual rear camera setup with PDAF and LDAF support.
The smartphone was unveiled at IFA 2017 in Berlin, alongside the regular V30. Both the smartphones are near identical, except for the onboard storage. The V30 comes with 64GB of internal storage, whereas the V30 sports 128GB ROM. In terms of pricing, the LG V30 was priced at KRW 998,800 (Rs 56,600 approx) at its launch, and we can expect it to be priced similarly in India.
The LG V30 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 platform and 4GB RAM. As aforementioned, the smartphone comes only in a 128GB storage variant. It sports a 6-inch QHD OLED FullVision display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and a slim-bezel design. The device runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat with LG UX 6.0 on top and is upgradable to Android 8.0 Oreo.
In the camera department, the LG V30 sports a 16MP 13 MP rear camera setup with f/1.6 aperture, EIS and OIS. It also sports Hybrid Auto Focus feature which combines both PDAF and LDAF. It features a 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and a wide-angle lens for selfies.
The smartphone is equipped with a 3300mAh battery and supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and Wireless charging. The LG flagship smartphone features a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC and sound tuning by B&O PLAY. It comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and is IP68 water and dust resistant.
