Both Zero 5 and Zero 5 Pro are essentially the same phones, offering the same set of specifications, except for the difference in storage capacity.

With an all-metal build, the design of the Infinix Zero 5 looks similar to the Huawei P9, especially at the back. It has a dual camera setup at the back with the fingerprint scanner placed in the middle.

The Infinix Zero 5 was expected to be launched with an 18:9 bezel-less screen. But, it will feature a 5.98 inch full HD JDI display with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It has a 2.5D curved glass on top.

Under the hood, both these smartphones will be powered by a MediaTek Helio P25 MT 6757 processor clocked at 2.6GHz coupled with Mali T880 GPU and 6GB of RAM.

The smartphone will run Android Nougat out of the box, with company's XOS 3.0 UI on top.

The Infinix Zero 5 has 64GB of onboard storage and Infinix Zero 5 Pro has 128GB of onboard storage. The storage on both the smartphones can be expanded up to 128GB with an external memory card.

Both the phones get a dual camera setup at the back. There's a 12 megapixel wide-angle Sony IMX 386 sensor paired with a 13-megapixel telephoto sensor. It can shoot in wide-angle, portrait mode and pro-mode with support for 2X optical zoom and 10X digital zoom. Up front, there's a 16-megapixel selfie-shooter with a f/2.0 aperture. It has a portrait mode for selfies emulating a shallow depth of field for a bokeh effect.

It is a dual-SIM smartphone which supports all major 4G LTE bands with 4G VoLTE. It also has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, and OTG. It has a Type C Port along with a dedicated 3.5mm headphone jack.

Both the smartphones pack in a huge 4,350mAh battery with support for fast charging. They can easily last for over a day on a single charge.

The Infinix Zero 5 will come with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage at Rs. 17,999/- and Infinix Zero 5 Pro will come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage at Rs. 19,999/-. They will be available in four color options - Champagne Gold, Sandstone Black, Bordeaux Red, and Bronze & Gold.

The Infinix Zero 5 and Infinix Zero 5 Pro will go on sale exclusively via Flipkart starting from 22nd November in India.

With its features and specifications, the Infinix Zero 5 will directly compete against the likes of Moto G5S Plus, Honor 9i, and Mi A1, which are already available in the market.

128GB - Rs. 19,999/-

The Infinix Zero 5 Series offers a premium design, solid hardware, and a long-lasting battery. It also offers a dual-camera setup with a high-resolution selfie-shooter. But, with so many comparable smartphones available in the market at lower prices, it will be a tough fight for Infinix Zero 5 and Zero 5 Pro in the Indian smartphone market.
