Reliance Jio, which has amassed 125 million users within a year of its launch, has finally launched its first self-branded phone - the JioPhone. Along with the handset came dedicated recharge packs for the device, adding to the melee of plans already available in the market. In response, Airtel has announced it will launch exclusive plans that will be bundled with 4G feature phones manufactured by third-party vendors and set up a VoLTE network, while Idea has confirmed its own phone. Vodafone has followed up the launch with two new plans aimed at new subscribers. Idea Cellular, BSNL, and Aircel, however, have not launched anything new in the past two weeks.
