Based on the complaint lodged by the girl's parents at the Perur police station, Police interrogate both Charookan and his friend Ansar Hussein, a case has been registered under the Pocso Act and an investigation is underway.
Coimbatore: A 16-year-old 9th class girl from Coimbatore was allegedly sexually abused by Charookan (19), a resident of the same area. He was saying that he was in love.
In this case, the girl was taken away with the help of her friend Ansar Hussain (21) from Aruppukottai a few days ago, claiming to be getting married. Also, the girl appears to have been sexually harassed by Charookan. Following this, the girl was sent home again the next day and the two escaped.
