Coimbatore: A worker riding a two-wheeler fell to the ground and died on the spot when a wild boar came out of the forest near Coimbatore, Thadagm.
Nagaraj hails from the Thiruvalluvar Nagar area of the Coimbatore Thadagam Road. He was on his way to work on his two-wheeler this morning. When he arrived at the Nursery area next to Thiruvalluvar Nagar, a wild boar came down from the forest and crossed the road.
Unable to stop the two-wheeler at that time, he came in contact with the wild boar.
Following this, he stumbled and fell to the ground and died at the scene. The people of the area informed the Forest Department and the Thadagam Police about this. Police rushed to the spot, recovered Nagaraj's body, and sent it to Coimbatore Government Hospital for autopsy. Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
