The stunning blindfolded 'Silambam' act is now listed in the India Book of World Records.
Coimbatore: In the Chinnavedampatti area of Coimbatore, 35 students ranging from 5 to 16 years of age, from the Mulla Martial Training School blindfolded themselves and stood on a single clay pot for 4 hours and 15 minutes performing 'Silambam,' in an attempt to create a world record.

The feat has now been listed in the India Book of World Records for performing exercises such as the Silambam Adimura, Velkampu Mankompu, Spiral Sword, Sword Range, Valari, etc.
Prakash Raj, the founder of the Mulla Martial Arts and Sports Association, students and parents lauded the feat and cheered the Silambam artists.
