Coimbatore: 532 candidates appeared for TN Board SSLC Exams at six examination centers in Valparai. Owing to the Covid pandemic which swept the nation during the past two years, Class 10 Board exams have not been held offline, in Tamil Nadu.
It has been made mandatory for all students to wear masks as Covid protocol while appearing for the exams. Similarly, the temperature of students was checked before they entered the examination centers.
A special examination flying squad led by the Assistant Project Officer, Senthil Kumar monitored the centers to prevent any misconduct at the student examination center. Two differently-abled students at Valparai Girls' High School are appearing for the exams.

The number of students giving their TN Board SSLC exams from Valparai Government Boys' Higher Secondary School is 250, Valparai Government Girls' Higher Secondary School - 86, Government Higher Secondary School, Sholayar - 28, Government High School, Cinchona - 17, Sacred Heart Higher Secondary School - 60 and Beula Matriculation School - 91. Of these 18 students have not given their exams on Friday.
