Coimbatore: As the summer vacation is to commence from May 1 - 31, a notification about the summer vacation sitting arrangements for the Combined District Court here, has been released.
Accordingly, trials will not take place at the Coimbatore Principal District Court, Additional Sessions Court, Subordinate Court and Munsif Court. However, CJM Court, Magistrate Courts, Special Courts and Fast Track Courts will function, as usual.

Justice Kulasekara of the POCSO Court has been appointed to hear the summer court cases. Accordingly, the trial date for criminal cases has been announced. The litigants can file petitions on May 2, 9, 16, 23 and 27. Thus, the petitions filed will be heard on 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th and 31st.
Meanwhile, Justice Sanjeev Bhaskar has been appointed to hear civil cases during the vacation time. Accordingly, the litigants can file civil cases on May 4, 11, 12, 25. And, thetrial for the same is set to begin on May 6, 13, 20 and 27.
