Faulty drinking water pipe in North Zone, Coimbatore repaired

The drinking water pipe in North Zone, ward 29, that has remained faulty for a longer period has been repaired after the issue was raised in the North Zone meeting held on Thursday


Coimbatore: The faulty water pipe in north zone, ward 29 has been repaired, after a long time.

The North Zone meeting was held yesterday, 28th April. The councillors discussed the issues at their wards with the Corporation officials at the meeting.



The main drinking water pipe near Sathi Road under ward 29 of Coimbatore Corporation, which was defective for a long time, was brought up to the notice. The councillors stated that despite repeated complaints from the public, no action has been taken to repair the defective pipe.



The Assistant Engineer attached to the North Zone directed the concerned authorities to rectify it immediately. Following that, the work was completed in the wee hours of Friday and the damaged pipeline in the area was repaired. I

The North Zone President Kathirvel visited the place to examine the work done.
