Late former TN CM Jayalalithaa's personal assistant summoned for interrogation in Kodanad heist-cum-murder case

The special squad led by West Zone IG Sudhakar summoned Poongundran, the personal assistant for further investigation into the case.


Coimbatore: Late former TN CM Jayalalithaa's personal assistant, Poongundran has been summoned for further investigation in connection to the Kodanad heist-cum-murder case.

The special squad led by West Zone IG Sudhakar has thus far questioned more than 200 people, including Sasikala, Vivek Jayaraman, Aarukutty, Natarajan and Sajeevan. Poongundran is being interrogated by the Special Cell from 9.30 am onwards on Friday, at the Police Training School premises in Coimbatore. Poongundran who was the late CM's aide for almost 15 years has been called for an inquiry for the very first time.
