Coimbatore: After a dry pandemic spell in colleges, the 'Thaikkudam Bridge,' a Kerala-based music band will be ushering in summer concerts at the Hindustan Arts College grounds in Coimbatore on April 30.

Thaikkudam Bridge is a Kerala-based music band, founded and formed in 2013 by Govind Vasantha and Siddharth Menon. The band has a soundscape that is built upon elements of folk and classical sounds of India. Thaikkudam Bridge has its origins in an ocean of emotions when the band was birthed near Thaikkudam Bridge at Thaikkudam, Kochi, in early 2013. Since then, the band has won numerous awards for their commendable performances.
The band released their own composition 'Fish Rock' which became popular through social media and YouTube. The Malayalam version 'Urumbu' of the spectacular song 'Aagasam' from the Tamil movie 'Soorarai Pottru' is well appreciated across the country. Thaikkudam Bridge has performed at over 400 venues and also released its own albums in diverse languages like Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi and English.
Govind Vasantha has been specifically lauded for his incredible rendering in the movie '96' and 'Hey Sinamika.' This is the first time Govind will be performing in Coimbatore after the movie's release.
