The Institute of Cost Accountants of India, Coimbatore Chapter jointly with The Insolvency Professional Agency (IPA) of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India organised a Seminar on “Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) and its Emerging Scenario" on Sunday, at the Rathna Residency in Coimbatore.
Coimbatore: A seminar on Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code was held in Coimbatore on Sunday
The Institute of Cost Accountants of India, Coimbatore Chapter jointly with The Insolvency Professional Agency (IPA) of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India organised a Seminar on “Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) and its Emerging Scenario" on Sunday, at the Rathna Residency in Coimbatore.
The seminar was followed by felicitation to students who passed out CMA Final Examination recently and awards to All India Rank Holders and top scorers in Coimbatore.
CMA V.Mathanagopal, Chairman of the Coimbatore Chapter welcomed the gathering. President of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India CMA P.Raju Iyer explained the various initiatives taken by the Institute enhancing the opportunities for CMA professionals and called upon the young professionals to update their skills constantly including the new areas like IBC & Valuation of Securities.
The Chief Guest Rajesh Kumar, General Manager of Insolvency & Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) explained the developments in IBC and actions taken by the Board widening the scope of IBC for effective and quick resolution.
AVM(Retd) Rakesh Kumar Khattri, Managing Director, IPA of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India presented the evolution of IBC in India and the measures taken by IPA to develop Insolvency Professionals. He urged the students to take up Insolvency Profession which is a challenging and rewarding career. Later the President of the Institute awarded the Best Satellite Centre of Coimbatore to PSG College of Arts & Science (2020-21) and Masters Education & Charitable Trust (2021-22).
The meeting was concluded with vote of thanks by CMA A.Alwar, Secretary of Coimbatore Chapter.
