A sanitary worker named Manjula has submitted a petition to the CCMC Commissioner seeking action against the health inspector of verbal abuse and that she has not been paid her salary since January
Coimbatore: A woman sanitary worker has raised complaints of lack of salary and the verbal abuse by her higher official.
Manjula, a sanitation worker, has submitted a petition to the Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner demanding payment of salary dues to her. She has as well sought action on her higher official of using abusive language against her
Manjula, who is a permanent sanitation worker at the divisional facility in Racecourse area under the Central Zone, Coimbatore Corporationhas submitted a memorandum to the Coimbatore Corporation Municipal Commissioner alleging that she has not been paid her salary since January this year till date.
Manjula stated that all the work assigned to her by the health supervisor is being rightly carried out, however, she is being mistreated at her work.
The petition read, " I am currently working in the premises of the Coimbatore District Revenue Collector's House in the Race Course as per the orders since January this year. Rangarajan, who works as a health inspector in the division has not paid me the salary for the past three months and is also subjecting me to verbal abuse, causing me a mental torture"
Manjula added that Rangarajan spokeill of her profession and was acting out in revenge. Reportedly, the inspector has also been inviting the lady to meet him personally. The woman demanded that rangarajan be given proper advise and her salary dues be cleared immediately.
