The corporation officials inspected the quality of roads constructed in Saravanampatti and Chinnamettupalayam areas under Ward No.4 of Coimbatore Corporation North Zone.
Spraying of mosquito repellents in the drains of Azhagu Nagar area under Ward No.23 of Coimbatore Corporation East Zone is in progress to prevent the breeding of mosquitoes in the drains passing through the sewage. A special cleanliness drive is being carried out in Duraisamy Nagar area under Ward No.7 of Coimbatore Corporation East Zone in which the dry leaves and wood are being shredded using the machine to provide for the plants manure.
Similarly, the dengue control workers held a door to door inspection and disinfected the houses with abate, at Central Zone Ward No.66, the housing unit area of DRO Shopping Complex to avoid disease spread. They also sprayed mosquito fumigations at Ukkadam Kottai Medu, Ramasamy Naicker Road, Vennall Naidu Road and Bhaskar Naicker Road under Ward No.82.
