The BJP cadre in Coimbatore held programs at 17 venues to felicitate the corporation's safai karamcharis on the occasion of the party's 42nd Anniversary in which the sanitation workers were honored with 'Paada puja' and Annadanam
Coimbatore: The Bharatiya Janata Party's 42nd anniversary celebrations included a program to honor the sanitation workers in Coimbatore.
On the occasion of the 42nd anniversary celebrations of the Bharatiya Janata Party( BJP), a function was held in 17 areas of Coimbatore Corporation today to felicitate the sanitation workers of Coimbatore Corporation.
As the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) celebrated its 42nd anniversary, pada puja was performed and annadhanam were distributed to the safai karamcharis. The act was done in honor to the more than 100 workers working in 17 areas of Coimbatore Corporation. As a part of this, pada pooja and annadhanam were distributed to honour 150 safai karamcharis in Kuniyamuthur.
"The programme is being held in 17 areas of Coimbatore Corporation, as part of the 42nd anniversary of BJP to felicitate, recognize the works of around 100 safai karamcharis/ of the sanitation workers of the 100 wards", stated the program organizer.
