Coimbatore: The health care and sanitation workers of Coimbatore Corporation undertook special cleaning works and mosquito breeding prevention works in Coimbatore.
The corporation's health workers went on a door to door inspection at ward 19 North zone for dengue prevention. They inspected the houses for storage of water that could breed mosquitoes for presence of larvae, disnifected with Abate medicine and advised the public to be aware while storing water in the containers as dengue mosquitoes breed in clean water.
The safai karamcharis undertook mass cleaning at ward 76 in South Zone and ward 35 in West Zone.
The mosquito control fumigation were also done at ward 48 in central zone, areas including Dhanalakshmi Nagar, Siddhapudur.
