The churches in the city had organized for special prayers owing to the occasion of Good Friday
Coimbatore:Good Friday is being observed all over the world today, 15th April. Special prayers were held at all the churches in Coimbatore.
Good Friday is a day of mourning for the Christians as it is the day of crucifixion of Jesus Christ on Mount Calvary. Good Friday is observed on the Friday that falls before Easter Sunday, the day Jesus was resurrected. Special prayers were held at various Churches in Coimbatore since morning. As a part of this, a special prayer was held at the the Church in Gandhipuram, Coimbatore, presided over by pastoral leader David Barnabas. A large number of Christians attended.
