Coimbatore: The roads in Cheranmanagar have turned muddy due to the rain that occured for the past two days. Commuters and locals have demanded the corporation's attention on the issue.

The Cheranmanagar road from Hope College to Cheranmanagar has been in a dilapidated condition for the past several years due to various works, including the water pipeline and the gas pipeline works, being carried out at a slow pace.

construction of new tar roads began recently, and the road, which was already in a bad shape due to rain for two days, has further deteriorated.

The roads are covered in mud at several places and apart from this, due to the road construction work, water drains are blocked causing waterlogging in various parts of the road due to the rain.
