The sixth day of Coimbatore Vizha has escalated the festival fever in Coimbatore and the public visited the Valankulam lake stretch, along with preparations for Conversion for Change in Coimbatore.
Coimbatore: The sixth day of Coimbatore Vizha has escalated the festival fever in Coimbatore.
Sangamam, a confluence of Coimbatore’s favorite food, handmade products, crafts and exhibits for Children has been garnered at the Valankulam lake stretch, as part of the ongoing Coimbatore Vizha. The carnival will last till 17th April. The lane is filled with Selfie spots designed by college students depicting Coimbatore.
"Sangamam is a fun filled carnival stretch were people of all ages has something memorable on their part in Coimbatore.", stated the organizers, speaking of the sixth day happenings at the festival.
This year Vizha hosted its first CCC (Conversation for Change in Coimbatore) that will be held on 14th April, Thursday between 6 and 7 pm at Thulasi Pharmacy, RS Puram. CCC provided great insights on conservation and its importance to the people of coimbatore.
The first Round Table Discussion of Coimbatore Vizha featured 12 people who are involved with the process of blood donation in Coimbatore. The Round Table had thrown insights on the challenges in blood donation in Coimbatore and the possible opportunities for Rotary in specific and everyone in general to play a role in addressing the challenges.
